I’ve not had enough awareness to ever not do an appropriate respective time out, and even the times when I do manage to get myself out of the house I’ve focused on all of the wrong thoughts and centered them around how I was wronged and how to win the argument instead of how to be a compassionate and understanding partner. Understanding the early warning signs and what to focus on during timeouts will be tremendously helpful.
