My wife filed a restraining order against me the I feel was uncalled for. She exaggerated events that happened and in some cases flat out lied. I still want to save my marriage but I don’t see a lot of hope at the moment. I’m hurt and scared. I have to get my own lawyer to defend myself. I can’t do anything for our marriage at this point except to put it in God’s hands.

I have been working on myself and respecting my wife’s boundaries. It isn’t going well as she served me with a restraining order yesterday. We have only seen each other twice since she moved out. Once she stopped by the house to get some stuff and refused to talk to me. The second time we met at a grocery store parking lot to exchange stuff and talked briefly.
